The Pug Club of South Florida is an AKC (American Kennel Club) sanctioned organization. The goal of the club is to maintain the quality of the Pug dog breed. The club offers regular and associate membership, and meets monthly at various locations. Throughout the year the club sponsors at least one breed specialty show, an annual picnic which is open to the public, and several other events, including a picnic for members only. Additionally, the club will assist homeless pugs.
